We are a family of four who joined an 3d2n open trip aboard the Devita Rusdi. Was apprehensive at first because I’ve had several experiences of live aboard in different parts of the world, but from the beginning we were already impressed by the cleanliness of the boat and the hospitality of the crew. I really cannot find any fault at all with the experience! It was absolutely magical! The activities were well organized, very thoughtful as to the safety and comfort of guests, and their infectious enthusiasm made the experience that much more amazing. Wonderful boat, unforgettable experiences in all the best ways, delicious food, yummy snacks, and an absolutely stellar crew! Love love love Koko, Andro, Kevin and all the other amazing crew members aboard the Devita Rusdi! Best cruise experience ever!

Guide for Renting a Boat in Labuan Bajo: Sailing through a Slice of Heaven on Earth

Regarding top-tier vacations by chartering a boat, few destinations in Indonesia can rival the waters around Labuan Bajo. Labuan Bajo is a world-class premium travel destination with its crystal-clear waters, pristine white sandy beaches, and unique natural attractions.

Destinations

Kelor Island is a small, uninhabited gem known for its pristine white sands and enchanting green hills. Trekking is a popular activity here. Although the central hill may seem modest, it presents a decent challenge and takes about an hour to ascend. The effort is well worth it, however, as the panoramic views from the summit are stunning!

Manjarite Island, also uninhabited, is ideal for beginner snorkelers due to its shallow waters, ranging from three to eight meters deep. You can spot an array of marine life from just above the water's surface. Diving in offers even more delights, with vibrant corals and charming sea creatures, include ornamental fish, Dori fish, clownfish, baronage fish, barracudas, and angelfish.

Kalong Island is renowned for its millions of giant bats. The island is dotted with exotic trees that provide a natural habitat for these bats. They begin to "wake up" and become active as darkness falls. The sunset here is among the most stunning in Komodo National Park. Imagine watching the silhouettes of bats taking flight against the backdrop of a gorgeous sunset—a truly mesmerizing experience!

Padar Island, the third largest island in Komodo National Park, is not home to Komodo dragons. Here, you can climb a hill to capture breathtaking panoramic views. The vivid blue sea and surrounding islands are utterly captivating. While the trek to the highest hill may be exhausting, the reward is a spectacular vista of hills and stunning scenery that makes every step worthwhile. Capturing these moments will undoubtedly enhance the trekking experience.

Pink Beach in Labuan Bajo is one of the pinkest beaches in the world. It's a perfect spot for swimming or relaxing on its unique shores. Don't miss out on capturing your joyful moments here; the beauty and uniqueness of this beach offer a perfect backdrop for memorable photos!

Komodo Island is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It's a prime destination when you're in Labuan Bajo. This island is part of the Komodo National Park and is managed by the Central Government. With approximately 1,300 Komodo dragons thriving here, Komodo Island is a habitat for these unique creatures. The Komodo dragon is the largest lizard species globally, averaging 2-3 meters long and weighing at least 90 kg. You can explore the island to observe these majestic creatures, guided by Rangers to ensure your safety!

Taka Makassar stands out as one of the most unique destinations in Labuan Bajo. This tiny island is a charming speck of fine white sand, uniquely shaped like nine. It's visible only at low tide, offering a rare opportunity to swim, revel in the crystal-clear waters, and capture photos from this distinctive beach.

Manta Point is a top snorkeling and diving destination in Labuan Bajo, famed for its incredible natural underwater landscape. This spot provides a thrilling opportunity to encounter rare marine life, particularly manta rays. You might also see colonies of jellyfish, which are equally mesmerizing. Prepare to be captivated by the beauty of these marine creatures!

Nicknamed the "City of Turtles," Siaba Island promises a serene and beautiful end to your day with its stunning sunset framed by exotic islands. The calm waters here create a peaceful ambiance, perfect for snorkeling. If luck is on your side, you might even spot some turtles!

Located in the waters of Komodo National Park, Kanawa Island is a small yet strikingly beautiful destination. The island is fringed by diverse coral reefs and features pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters, making it a private paradise. It has a dock to accommodate tourist boats, making access easy. Swimming and photography are popular activities here, allowing visitors to enjoy and fully capture the island's enchanting scenery.
