Dunia Baru Liveaboard is a 51-metre phinisi for a private Raja Ampat liveaboard, chartered as a whole boat for your group only. Built almost entirely from Borneo ironwood (ulin) by the master Konjo boat builders of South Sulawesi, she was designed by Karsten Marine USA, with interiors by Deirdre Renniers Interior Design and marine systems by NorEast Marine Systems USA. Among yacht charter options in Indonesia, Dunia Baru is the first and only BKI-classed wooden boat operating in Indonesian waters. Seven cabins host up to 14 guests, with one Master Suite that has its own private sun deck and six staterooms, all looked after by a crew of 18.
For Raja Ampat liveaboard diving, the onboard dive centre carries 2 Coltri air compressors, a Nuvair nitrox generator, 28 x 80 CU and 2 x 100 CU tanks, plus 14 Aqualung dive kits in various sizes. Three RIB tenders take you to dive sites, snorkelling spots and quiet beaches. Between dives, there is a FunAir Slide & Sea Pool, 2 SeaDoo jet skis, sea kayaks, paddle boards, a wakeboard, water skis and even a Sunfish sailing dinghy.
Meals are tailored to each guest, and the open kitchen lets you watch the chef at work right in front of you.
