La Galigo, built in 2012 by the skilled craftsmen of South Sulawesi in Bira, is a traditional Phinisi boat. This two-masted sailing boat, designed by the Bugis tribes, draws inspiration from ancient Dutch ships. For centuries, the Bugis have perfected boat-building using the rich tropical hardwoods available in their homeland.

La Galigo’s hull is constructed from the renowned 'Iron Wood', known for its exceptional strength and durability, making it capable of withstanding the toughest seas and weather conditions. The boat's interior showcases tropical teak wood, providing an elegant and robust finish. Weighing over 169 gross tonnes, La Galigo combines tradition with sophistication.

The exquisite design and premium materials create a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere for passengers, embodying the perfect harmony of traditional craftsmanship and modern luxury.
